Das Ziel einer CryptoParty ist es Wissen zu Teilen, wie man sich im digitalen Raum schützen kann. Das beinhaltet verschlüsselte Kommunikation, wie man sich vor Tracking beim Browsen schützen kann und generelle Sicherheitstipps für Computer und Smartphones.

Wie kommunziere ich sicher im Netz?
Wie schütze ich meine Privatsphäre?
Wie funktioniert Kryptografie?
Wer hat alles Zugriff auf meine Daten?
Welche Apps und Browsereinstellungen haben sich bewährt?
Wie kommuniziere ich anonym?

Der Event ist hands-on und findet in Interessensgruppen statt. Bringt eure Fragen, Überlegungen und auch eure digitalen Geräte mit.

Die Veranstaltung ist offen, kostenlos und ohne Anmeldung. Sie findet nach Absprache mit den Teilnehmenden in Deutscher und Englischer Sprache statt.

Secure Communication and Digital Self-Defense

The goal of a CryptoParty is to pass on knowledge about protecting yourself in the digital space. This includes encrypted communication, preventing being tracked while browsing the web, and general security advice regarding computers and smartphones.

How do I communicate securely in the Web?
How do I protect my privacy?
How does cryptography work and where and how can I use it?
Who has access to my data?
Which apps and browser configurations are best to use?
How do I communicate anonymously?

The event is hands-on and will be conducted in interest based working groups. Bring your questions, thoughts and your digital devices.

The event is open, free and without registration. In accordance with the participants can this event be in English and German.
